My Artifact:
Literature circles and team building activities are used to discourage social hierarchy. Students are reinforced for positive actions. It is a class rule to leave bad attitudes at the door way; when students are having a bad day, they are encouraged to "restart" their day. Students are aware of the belief that the class is like a family, a place where they are free to ask questions and share without feeling scared.
